On the centenary of the death of Gustav Mahler, the 14th Beijing Music Festival assembles the
most distinguished conductors and outstanding singers from around the globe as well as Chinese
and overseas orchestras to present the musical giant' s symphonic, art song and chamber output.
Within the 25-day Beijing Music Festival, China's music lovers come face to face with Mahler's
masterpieces as interpreted by the finest artists today.
Entitled "Be Mahler Festival," the Beijing Music Festival's program lineup pays tribute to the great
musician Gustav Mahler, realizing the Festival's motto of incorporating classics and innovation
